David Fonseca - Hold Still

David Fonseca nasceu em Leiria 8em 1973. Filho de mãe professora e pai bancário, viveu na aldeia de Marrazes (Leiria), até ir para Lisboa. Estudou cinema, vertente de Imagem, na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema de Lisboa, e foi aluno da Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Foi fotógrafo de moda, colaborando com diversos catálogos de moda como, Tom Of Finland entre outros do género. A carreira musical de David Fonseca começou com os Silence 4, em conjunto com alguns amigos da sua terra natal. O álbum de estreia saiu em 1998 - Silence Becomes It; para grande surpresa de todos, o disco teve um enorme sucesso à escala nacional, vendendo quase 250.000 cópias (seis discos de platina). Dois anos depois, em 2000, foi lançado o segundo álbum, Only Pain Is Real, vendendo aproximadamente 100.000 cópias. Em 2002, a banda terminou. Em 2003, David Fonseca lançou o seu primeiro álbum a solo, Sing Me Something New (disco de ouro). Mais informações aqui.
